Agricultural and larger loans require us to compile some additional documentation in our loan determination process. For your convenience, we have made these documents available for download here. These documents can be completed on your computer and then brought in or faxed to a loan officer to expedite your loan decision.
Most agricultural loans are approved within 2-3 weeks. Seasonal operating loans can often be approved within days when timing is critical. Our local decision-making process eliminates delays common with larger banks.
We work with both beginning and established farmers. For beginning farmers, we consider experience, education, business plans, and family involvement in agriculture. We also participate in government beginning farmer programs when appropriate.
We primarily serve southeastern Colorado, including Otero, Pueblo, Bent, Crowley, and surrounding counties. Our focus is on agricultural operations within reasonable distance of our Fowler location.
Absolutely. We understand seasonal cash flows and structure payments to match your income patterns. Operating loans often have harvest balloon payments, while livestock loans can be timed around typical marketing schedules.
While we don’t sell insurance directly, we work closely with local agents who specialize in agricultural insurance. We can coordinate loan requirements with insurance coverage and provide referrals to trusted agents.
Interest rates vary based on loan type, term, collateral, and current market conditions. We offer competitive rates and will provide specific quotes during the application process. Rates are updated regularly to remain competitive with regional and national agricultural lenders.
